Hi, my Name is Peter Denke.
I’ve been playing tabletop RPGs for over 30 years, diving deep into worlds of adventure, strategy, and storytelling. My love for games extends beyond the tabletop, I’m also a passionate video gamer, where I enjoy playing everything from RTS-games like the Total War-series to survival crafters like Enshrouded and Aloft, and of course all types of RPGs.
When I’m not gaming, I enjoy the outdoors. Hiking and bushcraft let me connect with nature, challenge myself, and develop practical skills. I appreciate the balance between modern entertainment and the primal satisfaction of self-reliance.
Fitness has also been a major part of my life. I’ve been weight training for over 25 years and still love every aspect of it. Strength training isn’t just about physical improvement, it is also about health, longevity and something as simple as living a pain-free life full of energy.

I’ve always struggled, not just with studying, but also with everyday tasks like chores. Over the years, I began to develop a theory about why that might be. In August 2020, I reached out to the Swedish healthcare system for an evaluation because I suspected I had ADD with autistic tendencies.
It turned out my suspicions were correct. That diagnosis brought a huge sense of relief, because it gave me a clearer understanding of how to approach the challenges I was facing. With meditation, medication, various supplements, and improved routines, everything has become much more manageable. I still struggle at times, but not nearly as much as before. I'm also still in the process of finding the right medication dosage.
Self-improvement is something I strive for in every area of life, whether it’s mental, physical, or skill based. I believe in constantly learning, growing, and finding new ways to challenge myself. That is why programming is perfect for me, because it challenges me mentally and I need to constantly improve to stay current.
I also believe communication is vital for all relationships, whether in gaming, work, or life in general. Clear and honest communication builds trust, strengthens connections, and helps everyone grow together.

Experiences:
I became a personal fitness trainer not only because of my interest in health, but also because I genuinely enjoy helping others.
As a personal trainer, asking questions was a key part of my work. It helped me understand each client's needs and goals. I didn’t just hand out workouts, I listened first, then provided them with the tools they needed to achieve the results they wanted.
This experience has made me skilled at asking the right questions. I don’t stop at the first answer, I continue digging deeper to understand the core of the problem they want help solving.
I believe these qualities align very well with the role of a tools programmer.

While working as an administrator at Göteborgs Stad, I was solely tasked with addressing an environmental issue: over 100 kg of advertisements were sent daily to the city’s various administrations.
I resolved the problem by coordinating with the different departments to obtain proxy authorization to manage and dispose of their incoming mail. Simultaneously, I contacted the companies responsible for most of the advertisements and persuaded them to stop sending them. Through proactive communication and negotiation, I significantly reduced unnecessary waste.
As a result, advertisement volumes decreased by over 90%, improving the city’s environmental footprint.
News of my work spread quickly. A local magazine featured me. The Environment Department invited me to take a key role in their city’s educational video. Avfall Sverige also reached out. They made me their main source for a national pamphlet. It focused on helping Swedish municipalities reduce physical advertising.
